Me, too! I love the idea of a superhero just gadding about in whatever they had on hand. Half the time (like with the X-Men) they aren't even trying to protect a secret identity, so it's fun to think about what a person would actually have in their closet.
Oh my GOD, that is THE cutest Wolverine I've ever seen(he looks like a grumpy gnome:>)!!
Ms.Marvel/Rogue will always be my favourite incarnation of the southern gal. Heck, I often wish they'd get rid of her absorption ability & just make the super strength, speed, flight & invulnerability part of her basic power set. I got to say to, having Jubes as a vampire who can hurl trains at four storey dragons & catch up to teleporters like Pixie ON FOOT, is pretty dam epic as well. Especially since it hasn't changed that spunky, life affirming mall rat we all know & love Why, at this rate, we might end up not even needing Collossus any more. Especially since Vampire Jubilee is now supposed to be apparently as strong as Collossus now. Yeah really. Apparently, she can lift around 110 tons.
Yeah, honestly the 90's cartoon will always be the one for me. But what did you think? Did you think it would work?
You know, my problem with the X-men, was that I could never figure out why everyone hated the mutants. They just seemed to hate them all for no reason, which really never made any sense to me, especially considering that they live in the same universe as characters like Spider-man, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four & the Avengers. I mean what's the contention? That it's okay to have superpowers, as long as you WEREN'T born with them? I always thought the X-men would work much better if it was just in a completely separate universe on it's own, like the transformers. They just never seemed to really try & bring into the main marvel universe for me(at least, not in a good way).I get that there meant to be a commentary on minority groups, but it doesn't really work because not everyone hates minorities. In fact, considering the backlash people like Orson Scott Card or Paula Deen have been getting lately, proves that being a bigot in today's day & age(certainly in countries like the U.S), is generally very, very unpopular. Plus, they always repeat the exact same storylines from the Chris Claremont run, which is great & all, but it'd be nice to have something different.
I don't now. Maybe it's just me, to be fair, I have alot of crazy ideas about superheroes, & I've never actually read many of the comics, so...
Anyway, thanks very much for your time! So sorry about the response being so late, I was on holiday in Spain! See you soon!
